Ion Space Privacy Policy We process your email and account data to operate the game, provide access, and maintain security. We use Sentry and New Relic to monitor reliability, investigate errors, and improve performance. That data may include request metadata, technical diagnostics, and error context, and is filtered to exclude sensitive keys such as passwords, authorization headers, and cookie headers. We use PostHog to analyse how the game is used (e.g. gameplay and account-lifecycle events) to improve the product. We use cookies for essential waitlist functionality: - ion_waitlist_joined: remembers that your browser joined the waitlist (max age: 1 year) - ion_waitlist_token: stores a waitlist token used to check invite availability (max age: 1 year) Timezone data: - We may store your browser timezone in your profile to support timezone display features. - You can set or change your timezone in profile settings. - You can control timezone sharing in profile settings. When sharing is enabled, timezone is shown only to players with active Defense or Trade agreements with you. - When timezone sharing is disabled, timezone is removed from your profile until you enable sharing again. We process this data under legitimate interests for service operation, security, and reliability. We keep data only as long as necessary for these purposes or legal obligations.
